Mental Health is a big challenge for many South Australians and our community. With around 690,000 interactions each year with our mental health services, it is important that we constantly look at opportunities to improve outcomes for consumers, carers and staff.
To address growing demand on our system the Office of the Chief Psychiatrist and the SA Mental Health Commission have released a new plan for the future direction of South Australia’s mental health services.
This plan focuses on both reshaping the existing service provision and delivering innovative, more integrated and efficient mental health services across community, residential and inpatient care settings.
